How to care for your new Boston Fern:
 
LIGHT: 
Boston ferns are the perfect porch plant, as they thrive in lots of indirect light. Morning sun is ideal, as full afternoon sun can burn the fronds. They like consistently moist but well-drained soils. Boston ferns grown indoors should be placed near a window, but not in direct sunlight.
 
WATERING: 
Boston Ferns enjoy weekly watering sessions, keeping their soil moist but not wet. Allow the top 2’ of soil to dry out between waterings during winter.
 
HUMIDITY: 
Boston ferns love humidity, but the standard 10 to 15% humidity of most homes is a far cry from the 50%-or-greater humidity that these plants prefer.
 
TEMPERATURE: 
Average home/office temperatures are great for this plant.
